The Harappa civilization
The Indus valley civilization is also known as Harappa civilization. this civilization was situated in the northwestern region of south Asia. This Civilization was Enduring from 3300 BC to 1300 BC, The civilization was matured around 2600 BC.
It Named as Indus Valley Civilization because it is situated in near the Indus River, Indus River is situated in Pakistan. In Hindi it is called as Sindhu Ghati Sabhyata. According to Study it is clear that Ancient Egypt, Indus valley Civilization and Mesopotamia was one of three early civilization, these three civilization was having the most developed population in the early age of 1300 BC. It is also known as Bronze age civilization, the culture have used bronze during the bronze age, where this culture was also lived in bronze age. thus, the civilization was also called as bronze age civilization.
The civilization was noted because of its urban planning, proper baked brick houses, water supply system and well developed water storage system, they have also developed water drainage system, huge amount of large essential and non-essential buildings. they use Copper, Bronze, lead, and Iron to create handicraft and metallurgy.
They where having two main cities, Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro. in this two cities around 30,000 to 60,000 individual can leave together. the total population of this civilization was around 1 to 5 million of individual.
They developed water management system so that in dry session stored water can be used, they also use stored rain water during the dry session. in the center of city one big summing pool was located. In the study it is found that, each house located in city having toiled and drainage system, where all the waste material was flushed out in the outside of city.
The Indus valley civilization is also known as Harappa civilization because the first place which is excavated was Harappa, the site was excavated by British early in the 20th Century. after the discovery of Harappa city Mohenjo-Daro was discovered in the age of 1861 with the Archaeological Survey of India during the British Empire.
By 2002, more than 1,000 Mature Harappan urban communities and settlements had been accounted, of which simply under 100 had been Excavated. however there are just five significant urban destination:
(1) Harappa
(2) Mohenjo-Daro
(3) Dholavira
(4) Ganeriwala
(5) Rakhigarhi.
The Harappan language isn't straight forwardly confirmed, and the Indus script has stayed undeciphered.
Why Harappan civilization was collapsed?
According to many the scientist, the Harappan civilization where collapsed because of climate change. some scientist trust that drying of River Saraswati in around 1900 Bc cause this incident.
