Kautilya's Arthashastra. 

As we know the sets of book written by Kautilya or Chanakya is known as Kautilya's Arthashastra. kautilya was an Indian philosopher, advisor, and guru. we can say the study of Artha is known as Arthashastra. 

   The Arthashastra means "the science of wealth" or "economics". It is an ancient Indian book on statecraft, military strategy and economic policy. In late 3rd centaury BC Chanakya wrote a book in which he mentioned how to develop economy, how to build empire, how to control army, and how to deal with a war. we can also relate the theories given by Chanakya in modern management structure. 

The Arthashastra contains nearly about 6000 sutras divided into 15 books, 150 chapters, and 180 sections. 

Each 15 books written by Chanakya in the Arthashastra can be classified into following sub books, 

1. Book 1st contain information about fundamental of management.

2. Book 2nd dealing with 'Economic' 

3. Book 3rd, 4th and 5th on 'Law.

4. book 6,7 and 8 on Foreign policies 

5. Book 9-14 teaching us, how to dealing with "war"

6. Book 15 deals with the methodology and devices used in writing the Arthashastra.

Arthashastra also tech us leadership value.

In order to achieve the primary goals of an organization leadership value is very important. and therefore kautilya  introduced list of value the has to posses.

2. Truthfulness.

3. Reliability.

5. Liberality 

6. Promptness.

7. Freedom from vices.

Kautilya Introduced The 7 pillars for business success.

1. Swami -  The king( The Leader) 

: - The leader is the caption and the man who sets the vision and direction for the organization. For example in todays world we call him Director, CEO, Chairman, PM, etc.

2. Amatya - The Minister ( The manager)

: -  The Minister is the person who runs the show, the second in command. he is the manager, who direct the ship in the right direction and is always in action.

3. Janpada - The country ( your market)

:-  As we Know no business can exist without a market, without market business can not exist is the area of operation. the place and people you serve and from where you get your revenue

4. Durga - The fortified city (infrastructure) 

: - The infrastructure is the base and the center of any organization, form here all the administrative work is done, work include all physical and digital.

5. Kosha - The Treasury (finance)

: - This is known that finance is the backbone of any organization, business and country.  the strong and well managed treasury is the heart and backbone of any organization. 

6. Danda - The Army (your Team)

: - The army is not only those people who is standing on the border and having gun on their hand, the army means the group of people or team members, those who are ready to fight for your organization. For Example the salesman, the accountant, the driver, the peon, all of them are your army and team members who equally valuable for the organization.

7. Mitra - The allay (Mentor)

: - The allay is the friend or mentor who guide you, when you are in any kind of problem. you can also depend upon when problem arise.
