What is 5G?
5th generation wireless network is known as 5G. It is a new global wireless network that comes after the 1G. 2G, 3G, and 4G wireless networks. 5G network is having a new kind of designed technology to connect everyone includes machines and devices.
5G wireless network can provide high-speed network, Ultra-low latency, Huge Network capacity, and much more. To full fill, the demand of population 4G was not sufficient. The cellular companies started deploying the 5th generation in the year 2019. It's assumed, by association that, the 5G network will have more than 2.2 billion subscribers by 2026. It is the cellular network, in which the service area is divided into small-small divisions, which are called cells. 5G network can connect all the 5G devices with high-speed network and telephone facility via radio wave with the help of a local antenna.
5G Network can provide a high-speed internet facility that can give speed up to 10 Gigabytes per second. It is also having low latency and ping, which is more secure and relevant. The high-speed internet is provided by adding high frequency. This technology was not used early in previous networks, because the high frequency is having a shorter range, small geographical units which are called cells. However, 5G bandwidth is divided into three categories, Low, Medium, and High, each category having different frequencies and internet speeds.
Low 5G bandwidth frequency is similar to 4G frequency but the speed provided is much faster than 4G which is between 30 to 250 Megabytes per second. Low bandwidth provides range and coverage similar to 4G network.
Overview.
5G networks are digital networks that can provide high-speed internet, where its area is divided into a small geographical region which is known as a cell. 5G network is able to support up to a million devices where a 4G network can support only up to one lakh.
Know days various providers are using millimeter waves instead of the microwave, they use this for additional magnitude. while millimeter wave having a smaller range than the microwave and it is having more problems while passing through several mediums.
Speed of 5G internet range between 50Mbps and gigabit/s, while 5G network which provides the fastest network is known as mm Wave which can generate 2Gb/s to 4Gb/s. The most common 5G Network is providing speed between 100 to 400Mbps it is also having a better range than the millimeter-wave. while mid-range 5G network can provide speed between 400Mb/s to 1Gb/s.
Latency of 5G is much better than the 4G network which can exist between 8-12 milliseconds, but in the rare case, it can also provide latency up to 4ms.
Error in 5G network is very low because it uses an Adaptive signal coding system, it automatically shifts to the less error-prone codding mechanism when error exceeds the error limit.
India will get a 5G network on 15th August 2022.
According to a new report, 5G is expected to launch in India in mid of 2022. It is assumed that PM Narendra Modi will launch 5G on India's 75 independence day. The government body's said that the 5G Network is expected to launch in India around August 2022 and they also said It is assumed that PM Modi could launch it on India's 75 independence day.
Reliance (JIO) has developed its hardware and software, and they have also conducted trials. On the other side, Airtel has also tasted its network in Gurugram by using Ericsson's network hardware. So, it is partially confirmed that the 5G network is coming to India on 15 August 2022.
